27 Days to the next Miracle

27 Things for 27 Days Challenge”

Last year, I was down and out about not having a job, feeling old, worn out, and tired of the stress of looking for work at the age of 63.

I had a lot of extra time on my hands, so I decided to start decluttering my space.

Being a student of Feng Shui, I don’t take this kind of thing lightly.

This is why I love talking about the home and how it affects us.

Everything is made of vibration in order for it to exist.  So, what we choose to surround ourselves with, affects us every day.

“If it takes space in our homes, it takes up space in our heads.         Dara Dubinet

Our homes, our heads, our hearts are precious real estate.

So, last year, after doing a huge purge of unwanted items, I received an invitation to spend some time in Hawaii, staying at a beach house, and working on myself.

By getting rid of stuff that we don’t need, use, or want, we are telling the Universal Source that we are ready for change, for something wonderful, for a year, a life of the miraculous.

By clearing our homes, our cars, our storage units, our closets and donating those items without thought of their value, we are creating a vessel to be filled up with many unimagined blessings to enter our lives.

“Bring ye all tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house and prove me now herewith, saith the Lord of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.”(Malachi 3:10 King James Version)

We always are provided for, so there’s no need to hang on to stuff, because you think you will never be able to replace it.

It’s time to let go of the old, the worn, the out dated, and welcome in the new, the miraculous blessings that are waiting to come in.

By clearing your space you are creating an open channel, or vessel to receive the blessings that you deserve, that are wanting to come into your life.

Today, I’m making a commitment to you, Cottage Mavens, that for the net 27 days, I will be clearing 27 items each day from my home.

And I challenge you to join me on this journey!

Let’s commit to take our lives to the next level by joining the 27 day challenge and see where it takes us.

Please leave a comment below to say you are “in”.

On March 25th, 2017, we will check in to talk about the wonderful changes that have taken place.

After you have completed the 27 day challenge, we will go room by room, to decorate your home in the most practical ways to provide your family with a most welcome retreat from the world.

How many of us long for our own comfy cottage in the woods? I know I do! We can make our own comfy cottage, right here, right now, no matter where we live. I'm a mother of two, grandmother of two boys, interior designer who thinks out-of-the-box, up cycler, and interested in just about anything related to living comfortably and finding contentment, connecting with the Great Spirit in the natural world and respect for all beings who walk the earth.

    1. In feng shui 9 is a powerful number. 2+7=9. 27 is a natural cycle for complete change. 27 x 27 is magical, but not magic. We are working with the natural cycles of the universe i.e. What goes around comes around. Or you get what you give.

  1. I really love this and I know I’ve gone backwards in finding this post but I’d still like to say I’m in! 🙂 Even if I just do some of the decluttering as I truly believe in what you’re doing, it will be worth it.
